By melding love, science and religion into a
primer on personal growth, M. Scott Peck launched
his highly successful writing and lecturing
career with this book. Even to this day, Peck
remains at the forefront of spiritual psychology
as a result of The Road Less Travelled.
In the era of I'm OK, You're OK, Peck
was courageous enough to suggest that "life
is difficult" and personal growth is a
"complex, arduous and lifelong task".
His willingness to expose his own life stories
as well as to share the intimate stories of
his anonymous therapy clients creates a compelling
and heartfelt narrative.

This book is amazing!!
This man has really got his feet on the ground!
A Road Less Travelled is full of simple, clear
truths and I think it should be on everyone's
bedside table along with the other great guides.

A work of genius and love to heal our minds
and communities
A master manual for self healing, human understanding
and true community, being both a joy to read
straight off or dip in for reference. The
definition of love, evil and dependancy I
found particularly accurate and simply explained.
Dr. Peck searches for truth throughout while
giving insights that can lighten more anxious
moods by clear thinking. When talking of spirituality,
it's in a wider sense than his christatian
beliefs . This should be required reading
for everyone, so justifiably a rereadab
